In today’s post, I am sharing with you, my Daughters of India dress collection and how I style them for everyday wear.
I love dresses because you don’t have to worry about matching a top to bottoms, a dress is already its own outfit, just add shoes and accessories and you’re ready to go!
Who are Daughters of India?
Daughters of India is probably my favourite ethical brand. I’ve supported them for years now, because I love everything the brand stands for. Their pieces are handcrafted by artisans in India and the brand practices true slow fashion. They have no production deadlines on any of their clothing, so that the workers then have the ability and freedom to manage their hours. You can read more about their ethical journey here.
The Kyra Midi Dress (My First DOI Dress!)
The first dress I bought from Daughters of India was this Kyra Midi Dress. I wanted something light and easy to throw on in spring and summer. I wanted a dress that I could reach for, if I needed to leave the house in a rush, but I didn’t want to look like a hot mess. And 2 and a half years later, this dress has been worn to death! It is my most complimented dress that I own, and I truly feel my best when I’m wearing it.
Whenever Alex doesn’t know what to buy me for Christmas or my birthday, he’ll buy me a Daughters of India dress, because he knows he can’t go wrong!
So on top of the many gifts from Alex, and the pieces I have brought for myself, I have now also been gifted a few more dresses from the team at Daughters of India to add to my collection. I could not be more excited to share this amazing brand with you today. All you need to do is read all the reviews people have left about how they feel wearing these dresses, to fully understand how special they really are.
I also have a discount code to share with you: EMILYELIZABETHMAY. The first 100 people to use this code will get 15% off their entire first order.
