It has been over 3 months since I started using Juice Beauty skincare products, so today I wanted to share with you my before and after photos, as well as my thoughts, my recommendations and if I am going to continue to use these products.
I decided to test 3 products from the Juice Beauty Green Apple Skincare range that are targeted at anti-ageing.
My skin concerns were fine lines and uneven skintone, which for me includes dark spots and uneven texture.
I was gifted these products, and I told the brand that I would test them for a minimum 6 weeks before sharing them with my audience (and that’s only if I enjoyed using them!)
Before I share my before and after photos, I want to briefly tell you about the brand and the 3 products that I tested.

Who are Juice Beauty?
So Juice Beauty are an organic skincare company with top-notch values.
The founder, Karen, was on a mission to create organic skincare products that actually work and were targeted to specific needs. Karen worked for 5 years with scientists to perfect the products.
Karen was convinced that she could formulate her products with an antioxidant-rich organic botanical juice base, rather than petroleum or water, to yield the best results. And multiple clinical trials proved that she was right, and then Juice Beauty was born!
So all that information I summarised from their website. So of course it sounds pretty good, but the real test is the one you do on yourself right!? So it was time for me to test the products.
Juice Beauty Skincare Products
I made my product choices based on the reviews of previous customers. I read through A LOT of reviews, and chose things that people were raving about. So these were the 3 products I ended up with.
The Green Apple Age Defy Moisturiser
The Green Apple Age Defy Moisturiser is $52 and I’ve been using it every morning for over 2 months. I use a decent amount to fully moisturise my skin, and I still have about a 3rd of it left. So I personally think that is great value. And is within the limits of what I like to spend on skincare. Obviously this is going to differ for everyone.
So this moisturiser has a beautiful thick consistency but it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It’s incredibly moisturising and my skin just loves it.
It’s great for my sensitive skin and of course it doesn’t have that chemical fragrance smell, it doesn’t smell like much really which is great, because some clean moisturising can smell funky.
Green Apple Age Defy Serum
The next product I got is the green apple age defy serum. So this costs $59 and it’s hard for me to tell how much I have left, as it’s not a clear glass container. But if you didn’t know, having a see-through vessel can actually lead to the ingredients going bad. And not doing their proper job, so that’s why its not see-through.
I think I have about half left, and I’ve been using this once a day before my moisturiser. The little button gives you the right amount to use for one application, and a little bit goes a long way.
It’s a creamy coloured serum and not oily. It’s job is to smooth the appearance of fine lines and help reduce the appearance of dark spots. So it was basically made for my skin issues.
Green Apple Peel Sensitive Exfoliating Mask
The last product I tested was the Green Apple Peel Sensitive Exfoliating Mask. Now this also comes in a full strength mask as well, but I sometimes have sensitive skin so I wanted to be safe and start off with the sensitive option. This mask is $49 and once again a little goes a long way. It looks like I’ve hardly used any, and I think I won’t have to replace this for over a year.
So the job of this mask is to exfoliate and improve skin tone and texture. This mask is the product that I saw the quickest results with. Alex almost always comments on my skin the day after using this mask saying that my skin looks nice that day. I feel like it really helps to even out the texture of the skin and bring out a subtle glow.
You can use it once or twice a week. I only use it once a week. The first couple of times I used it I felt like my skin was slightly on the dryer side the next day, but I found that that dryness disappeared once I was a couple of weeks into using it.
I think the dryness was probably down to me not having a regular exfoliating routine in place already, and that my skin actually really needed a good rejuvenation. And that dryness was probably the dead layers of skin coming off.
Before and After Photos
I did my best to take photos in the same place, at a similar time of the day, with the same lighting same jumper and same pose! I wanted this review to be as honest as possible.
Obviously, I’m wearing no makeup and there is no editing. The after photos are slightly better quality, therefore actually show more of the tiny details of my face.
The big difference you can see in the above photos are my fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. I have always had really strong smile lines, but recently those fine lines have come out even stronger. I have seen a HUGE improvement in these fine lines since using these products.
In terms of dark spots, I only have seen a very small change in my dark spots. Nothing significant enough to be excited about. (Bare in mind, I have spent 2 extra months in a sunny Sydney winter, which would have encouraged my dark spots to appear brighter, so who knows, it may have been keeping them at bay).
Once again above, you can see the difference in the fine lines around my eyes.
Something you’re unable to notice in these images is the general texture of my skin. I can confirm that it feels smoother and my makeup applies a lot better. I have less dry flakey skin since using the exfoliating mask.
Let’s look at an image where I have a more gentle smile.
On the after image above, you can see the fine lines around my eyes have disappeared even when I am smiling gently.
The black circle on the before photo is my melasma (which is skin pigmentation from pregnancy). This is very stubborn and the products did not specify that they could improve this.
The other day spots around my eyes in the before photo have reduced slightly, but not significantly. I would like to test out Juice Beauty Green Apple Brightening Essence which is specifically targeted for dark spots, to see if that would improve them.
Will I continue to use these products? And… final thoughts.
I initially thought I would ditch the serum and just use the moisturiser and the peel, but after seeing my results in the photo, I’m just so so happy with how quickly this has made a difference and I think the serum and the moisturiser work as such a good pair together at reducing my fine lines, so I really don’t want to seperate them and then I love that Alex always comments on my skin after using the exfoliating peel, so I think I want to continue to use all 3 products.
30 day money back guarantee & Discount Code
If you are in the US, Juice Beauty have a 30 day money back guarantee if you’re not happy with your products. So I think if you want to test anything out, I highly recommend doing what I have done and take before and after photos to actually see if you can see a difference. And if you can’t after a few weeks then you have this money back guarantee which is nice.
And of course don’t forget to use my discount code EMILY20 if you are interested. And if you have any further questions about any of the products please comment below. I’d love to know what you thought of this review as well.
As always I am grateful for you being here and grateful for Juice Beauty skincare for allowing me to test out these products.
