I am always so surprised by the outfits I come up with when I decide to shop my wardrobe. It’s like my outfits are shouting at me, “Hello, we’ve been here all along!” So today I am sharing 13 new wearable outfit ideas that I created by shopping my wardrobe.
The outfits cover all seasons of the year, summer, autumn, winter, and spring. However, for inspiration for these outfits, I decided to look at the fashion trends that were prominent on the spring/summer runways.
When I shop my wardrobe, I always like to start by finding inspiration from somewhere, whether that’s runway photos, street style photos, artwork or even historical trends. It’s a good foundation to start with to build your outfit from.

The dress I’m styling below is incredible and can be worn in many different ways. The sleeves are removable, and it comes with different straps to add to the dress. I also wore the dress as a skirt!
I’m also styling a trouser outfit for this trend (see last image).

2 outfits inspired by the “double denim” trend
2 outfits inspired by the “shirts” trend
2 Outfits Inspired by the “Minimal Flats” trend
What was the overall trend of all these outfits?
The over-arching trend from all of these outfits was “minimalistic”. I have personally been leaning a lot into this trend recently because it’s classic and clean, but most of all it’s really easy to shop my wardrobe for this trend. It’s just about finding my favourite core basics, pairing them together in different ways, and styling the finished look in a modern, simple way.
