Today’s sunshine has inspired me to throw it way back to the beginning of this year, on a hot summers day in Elwood, shooting for two of my closest friends, Bianca and Cheyney, who run Kitt Cartel.
We were all excited to work with photographer and digital artist Kelly Maker, who has an incredible eye and authentic work.
We met down a laneway, at the back of an old (but quirky) apartment block. I had done my own hair and makeup. The girls arranged the clothing and hung it over the neighbour’s fence. The accessories were laid out on rugs on the ground, and we had our coffees in hand. It was very relaxed. We were 4 young girls eager to collaborate.
From memory, the shoot went for an hour or two. Everyone knew what they wanted, and we all liked the same thing, which is always handy!
Heres our work! Enjoy.
