Is it important to you that your clothes are made in fair and ethical conditions? Same! Ethical fashion is also important to me.
That’s why I do my best to share ethical fashion brands here on my blog and other social platforms.
Today I am sharing 3 of my favourite dresses that have all been mindfully made, by brands that continue to learn about their supply chain and care about the people who make their clothes.
Dress 1 – Opia
This is a very special dress for me. This was my very first official ethical brand purchase, and was also the dress I wore when Alex and I got engaged. I wore this constantly as my special summer dress last year.
This dress is so comfortable, it is elasticated up the top and has large pockets. It’s quite a thick fabric, but very breathable. I just love the cottagecore vibes that Opia create.
Dress 2 – Daughters of India
Daughters of India is a beautiful brand. Everything is made ethically in India and they are a true slow fashion label. The brand also works closely with their team in India to provide programs that build education and training for the village and surrounding areas of Jaipur, India.
The dress I am wearing from them was definitely my most worn dress last summer. It’s just so easy to throw on on a hot day. It’s light weight and super breathable. I adore this dress.
Dress 3 – Tree of Life
Sadly this dress is no longer for sale, however Tree of Life make gorgeous boho style dresses and clothing. Tree of life have been around for a long time now, and have always done their best to ensure fair working conditions for the people manufacturing their products.

Good luck with your own ethical and sustainable fashion journey.
Until next time,
