Autumn holds a soft spot in my heart. As a child, I remember spending Autumn days with my Nana, collecting leaves that had fallen off the trees, hauling them into garbage bags, and taking them back to her garden to use as mulch. I, of course, was a great help, running through the piles of leaves and throwing them up in the air while my nana gathered them up.
My nana has also had a huge impact on my style over my life. I have always admired her style, and have been blessed to have a few hand-me-downs from her as well. Admiring her style has also shaped how I have a big love for vintage fashion.
My wardrobe now has a good mix of basics and vintage, as well as many French-inspired outfits. So I wanted to create my Autumn capsule wardrobe inspired by my Nana as well as Parisian vintage style.
I chose one patterned skirt from the capsule to help create the colour palette for the whole capsule wardrobe. This skirt has blue, green, black, cream and a caramel/brown colour. Using this item to create the colour scheme made it so easy for me to put together all my outfits and choose my capsule items.
Below are images of some outfits, as well as my YouTube video talking about how I put this autumn capsule wardrobe together. I hope you like it.
