Head-to-toe black no longer! Light, neutral coloured outfits are fast becoming my favourite new fashion trend. And I’m absolutely loving putting together neutral outfits.
There is something very refreshing about a neutral coloured outfit, particularly in lighter neutral tones.
I’m talking beiges, browns and camel.
Now these colours aren’t for all skin tones, so it’s important to test different colours against you skin and find the perfect fit for you.
For example, the tone of beige/brown on the left might wash you out, however, the tone on the right might make your skin glow.
There’s not a big difference there, but it’s worth trying different tones and knowing what’s best for you, so you can shop intentionally.
My favourite way to wear neutral coloured outfits is to mix various shades of the same colour in one outfit. A monochromatic look!
Neutral coloured outfits make dressing in the morning more flexible. It’s incredible easy to mix and match a wardrobe full of neutral coloured pieces.
Neutral coloured outfits are trendy, and when worn right, ooze expense.
I challenge you to step away from your all-black wardrobe for a moment and introduce some lighter neutral colours. And don’t forget to let me know how you go!
