“One conversation could save your life… it could also save your brother, your sister, your parents, your friends.” – Pink Hope Australia
In September 2015 my sister, Amber, attended a fundraiser put together by Pink Hope Australia which then prompted her to get her breasts checked. She was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 28 with 3 young children.
Amber has now been cancer free for 11 months and she dedicates her free time working with Pink Hope to raise awareness for a cause so close to our family and so important for everyone.
Pink Hope’s mission is to empower families to take control of their breast and ovarian cancer risk.
Today is Bright Pink Lipstick Day (in Australia, but let’s spread it around the world!) It is an annual campaign by Pink Hope which aims to put preventative health on the lips of all Australians.
