This is the most versatile black summer dress and it has certainly worked hard in my wardrobe this year.

Long Sleeve Option
These sleeves are attached & removed with buttons. (The elastic is not tight around my wrists, which is important for me in terms of comfort).
Straps Option 1 (bows)
The brand provides 4 black straps, which are attached with buttons at the front and back on either arm. They are nice and long which allows you to tie them up as bows on top of your shoulders.
Straps Option 2 (halter neck)
I haven’t seen the brand style the straps like this, but I thought I would give it a go as I love halter necks. I used 2 of the 4 straps, attached the buttons at the front and tied it in a bow around the back of my neck to create a halter neck shape.
Strapless Option
The other option is to have no straps or sleeves at all! I think this look is particularly nice with the pearl necklace.
Bonus – Skirt Option
I decided to pull the dress down and make it a skirt! And voi la, it worked. I love the way this turned out!
